Today...

• I went to the ER this morning from work at 530am because I was having heart palpulations. They gave me some medicine which brought my heartbeat down from 215-250 to 100 beats a minute. Pretty scary medicine...it stops your heart for a few seconds and defaults it back to a normal speed. I was scared and cried like a baby because I felt helpless, and couldn't make myself calm down. I prayed...alot. And the funny thing is, I woke up perfectly normal at 430am thinking, "Man, I'm so glad I'm healthy." :)

• SVT is a condition in which the heart beats too quickly. There are alot of different things that can cause SVT, but the big ones are: Stress, too much caffeine intake, but no definite cause can be found. Both apply to me. So now I get to see a cardiologist next week, and no: coffee, chocolate, tea, soda, or anything that will hurt my heart.

• The verse that came to mind was..."He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters "Psalm 23:2 . I have always associated this Psalm as a "funeral" one, and I appreciate it more because of the reminder that he made me calm in a time of pure panic. I survived a scary thing by myself, and I was content, knowing that it was definitely not by my own strength to drive myself to the ER with such a rapid heartbeat and fear trickling up my spine.

Teddy Update...

Our little pup is already 11 months old! He will be "1"on 12-8-09! Today he had a little trip to the Fullerton Dog Park, but alas...it's closed on Wednesdays (Dad didn't know)







So as a treat, we walked to Petsmart to get him a bone! He was very happy & has been chowin' down on it for the past 30 minutes!

Winter Coats...

We got our new winter coats yesterday! We are excited to wear them...

Sad little finger...

At work on Monday, I destroyed my little finger. My index (or pointer) finger on my right hand got caught between a cabinet drawer and a shelf creating my poor finger to wither in pain. It bled alot & it hurt! I went to the ER where I realized my finger was nothing compared to the sad 80 yr old woman that had a stroke the night before. All she kept asking her family was, "are we still going to Disneyland on Friday?!" I really hope they went to Disneyland today...here's my shamed finger...

New Purse...

100% Indian handmade quality. My mom bought this gem for me at John's Pass in sunny Florida when I visited her. I think this purse is blog-worthy & deserves recognition.

Halloween 2009...

• Candy, pumpkin pie, vanilla ice cream, pasta & homemade whipped cream by Emily, costumes, movie, laughing & waiting...

We waited for little kids all night. We only had about 10 show up. It was sooo sad. But we had fun even though we didn't get a chance to pass out all the candy we had for the little boys & ghouls. We did however get a chance to see a mom dressed as KATE from "Jon & Kate + 8", which was funny. She had the Kate wig & a sweat pants suit on.

Teddy was the cats pajamas, or the dogs pajamas...He was dressed up as Mickey Mouse for half the night, then in a Jack-O-Lantern tee the other half of the night...
